Mumbai: In a major success the Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested a man in Mumbai in connection with a case of drug trafficking. The accused was making and selling intoxicating cakes through his bakery.
Originally a psychiatrist, the accused had started a bakery in his home in the Mazgaon area. The accused has been identified as Rahim Charnia. After getting wind of the clandestine business, the NCB set up a trap and arrested the psychiatrist cum drug dealer.
The NCB seized drug cakes weighing 10 kg from the accused. In addition to this, the agency also recovered 1 lakh 72 thousand in cash along with 320 grams of opium and 50 grams of hashish from the accused.

The accused was selling the intoxicating cakes under the name of 'Hush Brownie'. Since he was making and selling the cakes at home, no one suspected him.
According to the NCB, the accused was buying the drugs from some drug peddlers and was making cakes from them.
