Nashik (Maharashtra): The number of Corona positive patients is on the rise in Nashik along with other districts in the state. Due to this a lot of citizens are worried. However, it is visually impaired who are mostly affected by this situation.
They are unable to get appropriate information as they can't read newspapers or any news portals.
Because of which they are still unaware of the awful reality of the Corona crisis.
Following which, the Blind Welfare Organization India in Nashik has prepared a Braille Corona brochure for visually impaired children. The book was recently published by the Guardian Minister. Over 1,500 copies have been distributed among children
Braille is a system of touch reading and writing for a visually impaired person.
Arun Bharaskar President of the Blind Welfare Organization, India, feels that the brochure will benefit the visually impaired and help them to be alert among the crisis.
