Meet Kadambari, the MTech girl who saves snakes

Meet Kadambari Pradip Choudhari a resident of Amaravati in Maharashtra who catches snakes to protect the reptiles and save the environment. Kadambari has saved more than 20 snakes so far.

Amravati (Maharashtra): Whenever we think of a snake-catcher an image of a daredevil man trying to subdue snakes come to our minds. Into this overwhelmingly man’s world has stepped in a young woman.

Meet Kadambari Pradip Choudhari, a youngster from Amaravati in Maharashtra who catches snakes to protect the reptiles and save the environment.

She has taken up the responsibility of catching snakes in residential areas and safely letting them back into the forests. Believing that the environment could be saved through wildlife conservation, she makes people understand the importance of snakes.For this love for snakes, she runs an organization 'Save And Safe Animal' to preserve and nurture animals. She has saved more than twenty snakes so far.Kadambari, who holds an MTech degree in engineering, is now pursuing law.Kadambari not only saves the lives of snakes, but she travels everywhere and make presentations about snake preservation programmes and creates awareness in public.
