Mumbai: After the decision of the Central Government regarding Corona vaccine, preparations for vaccination have started in full swing at Vile Parle's Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. This will be the first hospital in Mumbai from where the Corona vaccine dry run will be administered on January 16.
According to the decision of the government, first, the vaccine will be given to the government employees of the state and the people associated with the health service, after that preparations are being made to give the vaccine to the senior citizens of the state.
The government has also decided that first all the employees of the state who are associated with the health service will be vaccinated. Then citizens in which an age limit has been fixed will be administered the vaccine. It has been informed that people above the age of 50 will be listed.
The Covid-19 vaccination process will start from January 16 in Maharashtra. Only two districts from Maharashtra have been selected for this vaccination and Jalna district is one of them.
Vaccines will be given at 8 places in Jalna
The vaccine will be made available at eight places in Jalna district and the places in which the vaccine will be given to the beneficiaries are as follows. The vaccine will also be available at General Hospital Jalna, Sub-District Hospital Ambad, Rural Hospital Bhokardan, Rural Hospital Ghansangvi, Rural Hospital Mantha, and Rural Hospital Partur and Primary Health Centers Khasgaon and Shelgaon.
Dry run error-corrected
Some of the errors that took place when a dry run was conducted on January 2 were corrected. Also, the Aadhar card will not be sent back to any patient, the vaccine will also be given on other types of identity cards such as driver's license, PAN card, government identity card, other than Aadhar card on the Covid portal.
Also, even if the Covid portal does not have an Aadhar card, it is arranged to vaccinate on the prescribed identity card. So if you don't have an Aadhar card, no one will be deprived of it.
Team of five at vaccination centres
A team of five people has been formed for the vaccination and their training has been completed. However, the exact number of beneficiaries to be vaccinated is yet to be ascertained.
