Pune: Four helmet-wearing men pulled off a 'Fast and the Furious' style heist, ripping out an ATM machine by tying it to their car and driving away, carrying Rs 30 lakh worth of cash, from Yavat on Saturday.
The incident happened during the night near the Yavat police station area.
According to police, four men wearing helmets tied the machine to their car and drove off.
"The investigation is underway. We have dispatched four special teams to different locations," Police inspector Bhau Patil said.
Based on the available CCTV footage, the burglars had used a spray to block the camera at the facility.
However, the police managed to get footage of the incident from other CCTVs installed in the area.
