Mumbai: A massive fire broke out at Sun Mill Compound in the Lower Parel area of Mumbai on Wednesday late night.
The blaze took place in an automobile parts godown. Soon after the blaze, at least six fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
The fire fighting operations are underway. So far, no injuries have been reported. The reason behind the fire is yet unknown.
Earlier on November 17, a major fire broke out in a godown in Sakinaka area of Mumbai but there was no report of any casualty, officials said.
The fire broke out in the godown, where gunny bags were kept, around 8.45 am and later spread to some hutments in a neighbouring slum area of the eastern suburb, they said.
Earlier on November 14, a level-1 fire broke out at a restaurant in the Byculla area of Mumbai.
Four fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the fire which was brought under control within half-an-hour.
