Intro:More than four and half months after Indian Air Force's fighter jets targeted Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammad terror camp in a retaliatory airstrike in Balakot to avenge martyrs of Pulwama attack, Pakistan has finally opened it airspace for all civilian aircrafts.

Body:The announcement was made by Pakistan's civil aviation authority NOTAM. In its statement, it stated that, 'with immediate effect Pakistan air space is open for all type of civil traffic on published ATS routes.'

This has come as a big sigh of relief for many airline operators as they had to bear a lot losses in these months due to re-routing. The most affected was Air India which operates flights from Delhi to Europe.

Conclusion:Prior to this, Pakistan has extended its decision five times for the closure of its airspace for any Indian flight since February 27.

A similar decision was taken by the Modi administration here as well. But on May 31, India opened its airspace for all air traffic coming and going to Pakistan.
