Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau is taking action against drug trafficking in Mumbai. The NCB has arrested Iqbal Kaskar, brother of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, from Thane jail for smuggling Charas from Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab to Mumbai. A few days ago, 25 kg of charas was brought to Mumbai. The NCB investigation has revealed that the charas reached Mumbai through Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab.

Iqbal Kaskar, brother of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, has already been booked in a money laundering case. Iqbal Kaskar had earlier been arrested for threatening a builder for ransom. Arif Bhujwala, along with Chiku Pathan, and other drug smugglers were arrested by the NCB a few months back in connection with the manufacture and smuggling of narcotics in Mumbai.

Although Chinku Pathan is known to be a close aide of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, the NCB investigation has also revealed that he is in constant touch with Iqbal Kaskar. Iqbal Kaskar's name was revealed by Chiku Pathan during interrogation.
