COVID patient overcomes negativity through painting in Maharashtra

After tested positive for COVID-19, Renuka Khode took to painting to get rid of negativity she was getting during her isolation period. Renuka has also painted her struggle for victory over coronavirus on the walls of her house.

Nagpur: Renuka Khode, a resident of the Kharbi area of East Nagpur tested positive for coronavirus in August. With the help of the artist inside her, she overcame negativity during her isolation period.

According to Renuka, after testing positive for coronavirus, the behaviour of her neighbours, close friends, and society had changed. She said that their behaviour gave her negative vibes, and she started feeling avoided and left out.

With the advice of her mother, she utilised the time and started painting. Along with beautiful designs, Renuka's struggle for victory over coronavirus was also written on the walls.

Maharashtra's COVID-19 case tally rose to 11,45,840 on Thursday with the addition of 24,619 cases. The state now has 3,01,752 active cases.
