Could Deshmukh Brothers be the face and future of Maharashtra Congress on national level? Congress has never faced this situation before, as it had many prominent leaders in previous times like late Vilasrao Deshmukh, who has served twice as Maharashtra CM and was also a Cabinet Minister.

Sons of late Maharashtra CM Vilasrao Deshmukh attended Dusshera festival along with their mother in Babhalgaon, which is the native place of them. This is a tradition that Vilasrao used to follow and now the sons of him are following the same.
Riteish, Dheeraj and Amit Deshmukh are the sons of Vilasrao Deshmukh. While Riteish is a famous Bollywood Actor now, Amit and Dheeraj are still into active politics.
What's so special about attending this Dushhera festival, is the timing of it. Currently, almost every politician in Maharashtra is busy with the upcoming Assembly elections and is trying to grab every single opportunity to promote their party or themselves.
Even Amit and Dheeraj are participating in this Assembly Elections. Yet, they smartly skipped making any political comment or promotion while addressing at the Dussehra festival. Instead, they shared their memories related to this Dushhera Festival, and their father leaving the audience emotional.
On the other hand, they're also conducting rallies of promotion and getting a good response as well. Riteish being a Bollywood star is attracting a lot of public to the rallies. But, that's not the only attraction.
Unlike other few politicians' sons, the Deshmukh brothers have very good command over language and communication. Not being in any controversy, the Deshmukh family is a pretty reputed political family in Maharashtra. Every member of their family is loved by Maharashtrians.
Thus, it won't be a surprise if the Deshmukh Brothers are the face of Maharashtra Congress in future and lead the Maharashtra Congress on a national level as well.
