Thane (Maharashtra): A boy in Thane's Ulhasnagar area had a miraculous escape after an iron rod pierced through his neck.

Sarthak Ramesh Kalsule (7) was playing with friends when he fell on one of the rods near building gate. Neighbours had to use metal cutters to free him.
He was then rushed to the Vyankatesh Hospital where his condition is said to be stable.
"A minor surgery was done and now the boy is out of danger," said Dr Sunil Bhosle.
