Bombay High Court grants interim relief to Sherlyn Chopra, Poonam Pandey

The Bombay High Court has granted interim relief to actress Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey in a pornography case. The High Court has directed the Mumbai Police to not take any action against the duo till September 20.

Mumbai: The Bombay High Court has granted interim relief to actress Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey in a pornography case. The High Court has directed the Mumbai Police to not take any action against the duo till September 20. Earlier, Sherlyn Chopra has been summoned by the Mumbai Crime Branch's Property Cell. She has been asked to appear before the Police on Tuesday to file a reply.

Meanwhile, The Bombay High Court on Tuesday said it cannot pass any order granting urgent relief to businessman Raj Kundra, arrested in a case of alleged production and distribution of pornographic films through apps. Justice A S Gadkari has directed the police to file its affidavit by July 29 in response to a petition submitted by Kundra (45) challenging his arrest in the case.
