Mumbai (Maharashtra): Mumbai police has sounded a high alert in the city following intelligence inputs of possible terrorist attacks during the festival season.
The alert has been sounded as there could be a drone or missile attack on crowded places in Mumbai during the upcoming festival, Mumbai police said.
Accordingly, the Mumbai Police has banned drones, microlight aircraft operated by remote control and other things in the city.
Police have clarified that strict action will be taken against those violating such rules.
The order will be effective from October 30 to November 28 in Mumbai.
