"Of the 150 ventilators with the logo PM-CARES that we received at the Ghati Hospital, 50 turned out to be of no use. I urged the state government to file a complaint against the agency that dispatched these faulty ventilators. If we take up the matter with the Centre, we are ridiculed saying we do not know to make use of these ventilators. Our doctors are highly skilled in using these machines. When we Can successfully run such big hospitals, there is no substance in the allegation that we do not know to use ventilators," Jaleel told reporters.

"The Central government owes us an explanation," he said.
