Ahmednagar (Maharashtra): Twenty- nine Tablighi Jamaat missionaries including 24 foreigners and five Indian translators have been arrested from Ahmednagar in Maharashtra on Saturday morning. They were later produced before the district court.
They all had returned from Markaz and were secretly living in the district.
Five from this group had tested positive for COVID 19, following their treatment and recovery they were immediately arrested.
The 24 foreigners belong to Ghana, Indonesia, Brunei, Decota and Iveria countries.
