Woman raped on moving bus in Maharashtra

A 24-year-old woman was allegedly raped by an accused named Sameer Deokar on a moving bus. The accused also threatened to kill her.

Washim: In a shocking development, a 24-year-old woman was allegedly raped on a private bus moving from Washim to Gondia. The incident took place on January 6. The woman filed a complaint after reaching Pune.

Pune police have registered a case against the travel company and Sameer Deokar, the accused, for threatening to kill the woman with a knife and molesting her. Police have confiscated the travel company.

Meanwhile, the investigation by Malegaon police is underway. Sources said that a team has been deployed to track down the accused.

The victim hails from Gondia district and she was on her way to Pune for work when the miscreant tortured her.
