CCTV camera records fatal attack on sleeping woman

A woman sleeping on a sidewalk was strangled by an unidentified attacker in Madhya Pradesh.

Indore: A woman in Madhya Pradesh was strangled to death by an unidentified attacker as the incident was recorded by a surveillance camera.

The identity of the woman in the city of Indore has not been established yet, reports said.

According to sources, the incident took place around 2:30 AM Friday when the woman was sleeping on a sidewalk.

The attacker strangled her with a rope before fleeing. Police sent the body for a post-mortem after collecting details from the crime scene.

A case has been registered at Sanyogitaganj police station and a search is on to nab the killer. Footage of the incident from the surveillance camera will play a crucial role in the investigation, sources said.
