Dewas (Madhya Pradesh): In yet another act of kindness, actor Sonu Sood, who has earned widespread praise for his philanthropic work, came to the aid of a man from Madhya Pradesh's Dewas, who had lost one of his legs in an accident.
Dipesh Goswami, who was lost one of his legs in a horrific road accident while he was returning home from Indore in February last year, turned towards Sonu Sood after all options started to fade away.
Though his family's financial condition was not particularly stable, his parents spent around Rs 3.5 lakh on his treatment. However, his father, who works in a private firm, could no longer bear the expenses.
However, Dipesh was not ready to give up yet, as he was determined to stand on his own feet again.
Finally he decided to tweet to Sonu Sood, hoping that the actor would come to his aid like several other who had gooten a new lease of life over the past few months.
"Sir @sonusood. A few months back I lost my leg in an accident. I thought I would never be able to walk. But seeing you helping people, I do not know why, but I feel I'll be able to walk again. If possible, I would want to get a new leg. I will be very grateful. You are the only Messiah of this country," Dipesh wrote in a tweet in Hindi.

Dipesh's call for help was answered the very next day by the actor, who agreed to extend his help for Dipesh to get an artificial limb.
"My morning will start with your new leg. Come on brother, let's get you a new leg," Sonu Sood replied to Dipesh's plea in Hindi.

The very next day, Dipesh got a call from an organisation in Bhopal. He was told that he would undergo an operation to get a new artificial leg.
"I am really happy as I shall be able to walk on my own feet for the rest of my life," Dipesh said.
Dipesh later had a video call with Sonu Sood himself, and expressing his gratitude to the actor.
