Dindori: Bad road conditions in India are exclusive to urban as well as the rural areas. One such example of a place is in Madhya Pradesh's Dindori district, a Baiga tribal-dominated area, Chirpoti Ryt where people till today have no access to proper roads.
Every day, village residents, including the young and old battle through rocky trails to reach their destinations.
In the past, although the village was adopted by the President himself, devoid of proper roads. The village has been functioning this way even after seven decades of the country's independence.
Let alone other vehicles, ambulances too have no ways to enter the village.
In sheer disappointment, a resident, Vishnu Baiga said, "Governments changed, but we never received what promised."
Baiga said, although there were schemes developed for us, nothing was ever implemented.
He went on to say that despite this village being adopted one, poor conditions continue to prevail.
"We are being ignored and have no expectations left from the other leaders too," Baiga said.
