Cops held hostage in Madhya Pradesh
Police personnel were held hostage by villagers in the Rampuriya village in Rajgarh district. The officials could leave only after a few hours when helped arrived via 100 helpline number.

Rajgarh: Villagers in the Rampuriya village in Rajgarh district here held police personnel as hostages after they visited the place to inspect a crime.
The incident took place on Sunday when the personnel reached the village to take note of a crime and found the villagers defying lockdown guidelines.
When they attempted to disperse the locals, they engaged in a tiff with the officials and did not let them leave the village premises for hours.
The officials could leave only after a few hours when helped arrived via 100 helpline number.
Police personnel later informed that alcohol is being sold in the village. An investigation into the matter is underway.
