MP government issues new guidelines for marriage ceremonies

The Madhya Pradesh government has issued new guidelines, relaxing the rules made regarding marriages. According to the new rules of the Madhya Pradesh government, now 20 people from both sides will be allowed to attend the weddings.

Bhopal: There is good news for the people who were disappointed due to the postponement of their marriages due to Covid-19 in April-May. The Madhya Pradesh government has issued new guidelines, relaxing the rules made regarding marriages. According to the new rules of the Madhya Pradesh government, now 20 people from both sides will be allowed to attend the weddings. MP CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has given this information by tweeting.

In April-May, marriage ceremonies were banned in Madhya Pradesh after the deteriorating conditions due to Covid-19. During this time many people had to postpone their marriages. From June 1, as soon as the state is unlocked, a guideline was also made for marriage ceremonies. During this time, marriages were allowed with the condition of attending 10 people from both sides.

Now because of the decreasing cases of Covid-19, the state government has given great relief to those who wish to get married. According to the new rules, 20 people from both sides are now allowed to attend the wedding ceremony in the state. CM Shivraj Singh has given this information by tweeting. MP CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan wrote in his tweet that "Given the situation of Covid-19, marriage events till now allowed 10 people from both the sides. Today we have decided that 20 people will be able to attend from both sides. We have also decided that the people attending the wedding will get their Covid test done."
