Hoshangabad: In a shocking case of police brutality from Madhya Pradesh, a family, including two children were harassed in the name of enquiry for 14 days, over the alleged involvement of their relative in fraud cases.
The family has accused the Chhipawad police of several misconducts, including keeping all members of the family under the sun for several hours and denying them food and drinking water.
Besides this, the husband was kept in the police custody till midnight for interrogation, and the entire family was allegedly asked to spend the night in the railway station, purposefully denying them a place to sleep.
According to the reports, the wife's relative has been involved in many fraudulent cases and police, during the course of their investigation decided to question her family.
