Morena: Reports of negligence from the hospital and staff have become quite common since the pandemic struck India. However, things took a turn for the worst when a disabled person who was admitted in a district hospital in Madhya Pradesh's Morena died and none of the staff was even aware of it until his body was infested with worms.
Admitted on 31 July in the medical ward, the disabled person was taken in by Dr Nagendra Rishwer. But, after being admitted, neither any doctor nor any other medical staff came to see the patient.
Subsequently, when the media came to know of the matter and inquired about it to the hospital authorities, they were unable to provide any information regarding the dead.
To make matter worse, the hospital authorities refused to take responsibility and chose to keep mum regarding the people responsible for negligence and death.
They claimed that the person died today morning.
