Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra on Tuesday said that the state government will register a case against the controversial web series 'Tandav' and is also mulling to place a ban on it.
Speaking to reporters here, Mishra said he condemned the way the makers of the web series hurt religious sentiments.
"We will register a case against it (Tandav) and are definitely also considering a ban," he said.
Earlier yesterday, the makers of the web series ''Tandav'' apologised unconditionally after complaints that one of its episodes had hurt "Hindu sentiments."

The show starring Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Dino Morea, Kumud Mishra, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, Gauhar Khan and Kritika Kamra, premiered on a streaming platform on Friday.
Pertinently, the government recently brought OTT platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar, besides other online news and current affairs content, under the ambit of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, giving it powers to regulate policies and rules for the digital space.
