Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh): In a horrific incident, a woman and her husband were thrashed by a group of men in broad daylight, even as the police remained spectators, in Madhya Pradesh's Shivpuri district.
The video of the incident, which took place under Charch police station limits, went viral on social media.
In the video, a group of men can be seen mercilessly thrashing a woman and her husband. A policeman can also be seen, but he initially does nothing to stop the brutality.
Later, however, the police can be seen intervening.
According to reports, based on the victim's statement, the police have registered a case against three men - Jagdish Rathore, and his sons Sunil Rathore and Akshay Rathore.
Charch police station in-charge Rajendra Sharma, the accused thrashed the couple over a land dispute they had at Mohra village.
Meanwhile, the police are on the look-out for the three accused, who are presently absconding.
