Madhya Pradesh: 10-yr-old boy steals Rs 10 lakh from bank in just 30 secs

In a unique bank theft, a 10-year-old boy has looted Rs 10 lakh from Jawad District Cooperative Bank in Madhya Pradesh's Neemuch within 30 seconds. The boy entered the bank and moved inside cashier's cubicle to pick two bundles of Rs 500 notes amounting to Rs 10 lakh and moved out of the bank without getting noticed in the crowd.

Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh): A case has been registered against a 10-year-old boy for committing a bank theft after he robbed Rs 10 lakh from the counter of cashier within 30 seconds in Jawad District Cooperative Bank of Madhya Pradesh's Neemuch and fled the spot without getting noticed in the crowd, police said on Wednesday.

Police have launched a search operation on the basis of the CCTV footages wherein the unidentified boy is seen entering the bank at 11 am on Tuesday and swiftly picking up two bundles of Rs 500 notes amounting to Rs 5 lakh each from the cashier's cubicle.

He then dropped the bundle of notes into his bag and walked out of the bank unnoticed.

During the investigation, it was revealed that he was being guided by a man who was inside the bank when the incident took place.

The entire region has been sealed and a hunt is on to nab the juvenile and his guide.
