Bhopal: In response to projected shortages of sanitizer, Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal administration has devised a full-body sanitizing machine with the help of two engineers.
Amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) scare, engineers from Bhopal have got creative to find a solution to the shortage of sanitizers in the market by producing the full-body sanitizing machine.
"This sanitizing machine is equipped with several sensors. As soon as a person passes through it, the machine fully sanitizes the person in a few seconds. The cost of this machine is about Rs 2 lakh but these two engineers together have made it in a mere cost of Rs 30 thousand only," an official said.
"Preparations are already being made to install at least 10 machines in crowded areas of the city. With the help of this, people can easily sanitize themselves just in few seconds," said Vinod Kumar Shukla, Deputy Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Bhopal.
