Indore: Cyclist Neeraj Yagnik returned to Indore on Monday after completing a cycle journey of about 4000 km from Lal Chowk in Srinagar to Kanyakumari, where he was welcomed by the people of the city as well as many BJP leaders.
Yagnik is a 53-year-old cyclist from Indore. He completed his journey in 3 weeks. During this time, he passed through 9 states and reached from one end of the country to the other.
BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya had met Yagnik at Lal Chowk in Kashmir and wished him luck for the journey. There, Neeraj was also introduced to the then Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Satyapal Malik.
Neeraj reached Kanyakumari from Jammu & Kashmir via Punjab and Haryana.
While on the way, he met with an accident after which, he was advised by doctors rest for seven days.
Neeraj, however, refused to stop and continued cycling for three consecutive days with one leg. He surpassed all the hurdles on his way to achieve what was difficult to achieve.
BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya welcomed Neeraj Yagnik at the airport and brought him to Rajwada.
Neeraj has set an example for people all over the country. He says that he embarked on this journey to make people aware and inspire them to conquer new territories in their lives.
