Five-month pregnant woman dies in Karnataka Express

A five-month pregnant woman has died in the Karnataka Express train near Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh. The deceased has been identified as Nur Jahan. Nur Jahan was travelling to Yadgir, Karnataka along with her husband Jamaluddin and two daughters. Her body was removed from the train at Khandwa Railway station.

Khandwa: A five-month pregnant woman has died in the Karnataka Express train near Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh. The deceased has been identified as Nur Jahan. Nur Jahan was travelling to Yadgir, Karnataka along with her husband Jamaluddin and two daughters. Her body was removed from the train at Khandwa Railway station.

The woman suddenly fell ill and went to the train washroom, where she collapsed after a bout of vomiting. The woman didn't recover her consciousness after all the attempts made by the fellow passengers. When the train reached Khandwa railway station, the husband Jamaluddin, informed the police. The Railway police, with the help of the passengers, removed the woman's body at the railway station. Doctors declared the woman dead after preliminary tests. The Railway Police have also filed an initial report and sent the body for postmortem.

The two daughters of the deceased woman remained unknown of the demise of their mother. Ironically, even after the death of the woman, both the daughters sat near the body of their mother. They were also seen sitting near the body of the deceased in Khandwa Railway Station.
