Hoshangabad: A fire broke out in a truck laden with LPG gas cylinders near Hoshangabad Tawa river in the wee hours of Tuesday.
No casualty was reported in the incident.
After a tough operation, the fire was brought under control. The driver and cleaner of the truck are absconding.
According to officials, the accident occurred after 2 am.
The truck loaded with LPG was reportedly moving from Bhopal to Pipariya. Cylinders kept in the truck fell into the surrounding fields resulting in a series of blasts.
Cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.
