Ujjain: Congress Rajya Sabha member and former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijaya Singh criticised the BJP over the collection of donations for the Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya.
Speaking to ETV Bharat at Nagda in Ujjain district, he questioned that with whose permission the BJP is collecting donations for the construction of Ram temple? Has the Trust authorized BJP to collect donations for temple construction?
He further alleged that the saffron party is collecting donations for the temple through rallies in which they are carrying lathis and swords.
Speaking regarding the installation of Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar's statue in Nagda, Singh said that if the statue doesn't get installed within a month, then he himself will sit on hunger strike at Nagda.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sigh has donated Rs 1,11,111 for the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
