BJP MLAs run for corona test after coming in contact with colleague Sakhlecha

There has been a sense of panic among many BJP MLAs in Neemuch of Madhya Pradesh after one of their colleagues - Om Prakash Sakhlecha and his wife Sangeeta - were tested positive for the coronavirus.

Neemuch: Many BJP MLAs rushed to JP Hospital in Bhopal after party MLA Om Prakash Sakhlecha and his wife Sangeeta were found infected with the coronavirus.

The MLAs, who may have come in contact with Sakhlecha while voting for the Rajya Sabha polls on Friday, started reaching the hospital in Bhopal early in the morning, sources said.

Sakhlecha, the BJP legislator from Jawad Vidhan Sabha constituency in the district, has confirmed to ETV Bharat that he has been found positive for the contagious disease.

The MLAs and others who were around him at the time of the voting rushed to get themselves tested for the contagious disease, which has killed lakhs of people and destroyed economies across the world in the past few months.
