95-year-old woman recovers from COVID-19 in Indore

95-year-old Chandabai from Indore was admitted to hospital on 10 May after testing positive for COVID-19. She recovered from the deadly virus and returned home on Thursday.

Indore: A 95-year-old woman in Indore, who had tested positive for COVID-19, returned to her home to a warm welcome on Thursday, upon completion of treatment.

Chandabai lives in Nehru Nagar in Parmar city. Her family members were subjected to coronavirus tests on May 6 and the results of six of them turned positive.

Later, the nonagenarian was also found infected with the virus, following which she was admitted to the hospital on 10 May.

Neighbours and family members cheered and clapped as the woman got off the ambulance on Thursday night.

The number of COVID-19 patients in Indore city is constantly rising while many patients are recovering.

On Thursday, 16 patients returned home after recovering from the deadly virus.
