Morena: Three covid-19 patients died at district hospital allegedly after the staff delayed switching the oxygen supply after a tank ran dry at the treatment facility was cut.
It was learned that the supply of oxygen was cut for 20 minutes, leading to the death of three in-patients.

According to information, there was no person staff in charge to switch the supply from oxygen cylinders at the hospital, leading to three deaths. It was alleged that 46-year-old Dharmendra Singh of Sanjay Colony, 70-year-old Virender Jain from Ambah, and 74-year-old Mahendra Kulshreshtha of New Housing Board Colony had breathed their lasts when Oxygen supply was restored about 20 minutes later.

This reporter of ETV Bharat was told that the hospital management did not fix the issue even after three people died. On Monday, the oxygen supply was once again cut in the Covid ward for 10 minutes. However this time, the hospital guard changed the cylinder on time.
Madhya Pradesh is already struggling with a shortage of oxygen, Remdesivir injections and availability of beds. The state is also witnessing a surge in the death toll due to Covid-19. However, in Morena, patients have now died due to the negligence of hospital administration.
