Wayanad: Despite having just one lower limb, Swaroop Janardhanan blows one’s mind with his unfaltering dance moves and enthrals his audience.
Swaroop, a 29-year-old youth from Puliyarmala in Wayanad district of Kerala, lost one of his legs in a road accident six months ago.
In February 2020, a car collided with Swaroops bike, leaving him badly injured. He needed medical care and treatment for about three full months to return to life. However, one of his legs had to be amputated.
Swaroop’s life thus far was filled with the dreams and goals he had set for cinema, modelling and dance. Nevertheless, Swaroop was not taken aback by the accident and the loss of a leg. He tried to fight back the destiny through his dance steps.
Once Swaroop reached home after his treatment, his parents, relatives and friends together supported him and gave colours to his life.
They helped him to revive the old dance club after which he again started dancing. A Youtube video of Swaroop’s dance along with his friends has taken the internet by storm.
Swaroop needs an artificial limb, which requires about Rs 24 lakhs to get back to dancing on his two legs. Swaroop who comes from a humble background hopes that he will get help from somewhere.
