Kozhikode (Kerala): Malayalam film actor Santhosh Keezhattoor performed a solo street drama demanding justice for the two girls who committed suicide at Valayar in Kerala's Palakkad.
The girls ended their lives, allegedly after they were sexually abused.
The incident had led to widespread protests across Kerala.
Protesters raised allegations of irresponsible investigation that failed to produce enough evidence in the court and the accused in the case were set free.
The drama was staged with the slogan 'Killing again and again.'
Santhosh played the role of a mother whose daughters were raped and she was seeking justice for them.
Keezhattoor covered the area from Kannur railway station to the old bus stand premises while giving his performance.
Taking a stand against injustice, Keezhattoor reflected through his performance that it is an artist's duty to raise his voice when justice is denied to the common people.
Santhosh Keezhattoor also appealed the people to extend their support to the family of the girls of Valayar.
