Palakkad (Kerala): Kerala Police have seized a huge amount of explosives that were being carried in a lorry at Walayar in the wee hours of Sunday.
Walayar Police arrested Tamil Nadu natives Ravi and Prabhu for transporting explosives who were transporting 7000 gelatine sticks and 7500 detonators in the mini lorry.
The explosives were hidden in boxes loaded with tomatoes. The lorry crossed the check post without proper documents.
According to the sources, the explosives were transported from Salem to Angamaly.
