Alappuzha: An overspeeding car rammed into some students and bike riders in Poochakkal here on Tuesday afternoon.
Six persons including four students have been injured in the accident that took place around 2 pm. The overspeeding car lost control and rammed into 3 girl students walking on the other side of the road.

In the impact of the collision, the students were thrown into the nearby canal. Following this, another student on a cycle was also hit. Later the car rammed into a post and came to a halt.
The injured students have been identified as Anakha, Archana, Chandana and Sakhi. The CCTV visuals of the accident were obtained. Earlier the car had rammed into a bike injuring two persons travelling on the bike.
