Thiruvananthapuram: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah need to withdraw the Citizenship Amendment Act and have to apologize for their fault, said Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad here on Saturday.
The statewide citizen’s march organized by SDPI State Committee began from Kasaragod and was concluded at Raj Bhavan in the capital today.
Chandrashekhar Azad was the chief guest at the march held in Thiruvananthapuram.

"We will not shut down these protests until the government withdraws the Amendment Act. The union government is setting the agenda to break all the opposition and strikes which is against CAA. India is not based on RSS's headquarters."
Azad also suggested Dalit and tribal communities to take part in the protests against CAA, besides Muslims.
