Kasaragod: A woman, who was reported missing from her residence in Pannipara on September 19, was allegedly murdered by her husband.
According to official sources, the deceased identified as Prameela was killed by her husband Seljo, who admitted to the crime during interrogation.
He admitted that he strangled his wife to death during a quarrel and later dumped her body into the Chandragiri River.
The deceased has been identified as a resident of Kundara in Kollam.
Police are searching for the dead body in the Chandragiri River. Further, inquiries are being conducted by the police.
Seljo and Prameela were married for 11 years.
