Kozhikode plane crash: Lost boy reunited with parents after rescuers post on social media

A boy found by rescuers in the Kozhikode plane crash on Friday was reunited with parents after his pictures were widely circulated on social media.

Malappuram: A boy who was separated from his parents during the Kozhikode plane crash on Friday, was reunited with them today.

After rescuers found the child, Sabir Ali, a civil police officer then rushed the boy to a hospital.

The child's picture and information were circulated on social media to find the child's parents.

The Vande Bharat Mission plane was coming from Dubai and due to heavy rain skidded off the runway, plunging 35 feet into a gorge at Karipur airport.

The plane crashed on the Kondotty-Kunnumpuram road and splitting in two, no fire was reported however, eight died in the accident.
