Thrissur (Kerala): The Kerala Police on Friday said that a case will be filed against at least 1,000 people, including BJP national president JP Nadda, for violating the COVID-19 protocol and holding a public meeting.
BJP national president JP Nadda participated in the public meeting held at Thekkinkad Maidan in Thrissur on Thursday.
State and district leaders will also be named along with JP Nadda, police said.
Addressing a public rally in Thrissur, in poll-bound Kerala, Nadda on Thursday said that the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were giving "special focus" and attention to the state and over Rs 19,000 crore has been kept aside to ease its revenue deficit.
