New Delhi: The Air India Express on Monday said that 56 passengers, who were injured in a plane crash in Kerala's Kozhikode, have been discharged from the hospital after recovering completely.
The Air India Express flight carrying 191 passengers on board skidded off the runway in rain and broke apart while landing at Kozhikode on Friday claiming 18 lives including two pilots.

"56 injured passengers have been discharged from various hospitals after obtaining complete fitness," Air India Express said a statement.
"The Emergency Response Team of Air India and Air India Express and the Angel's of Air India are continuously positioned at various hospitals to render all the required support to the injured passengers as well as to their family members," it added.
The black box of Air India Express flight that crash-landed at Kozhikode on Friday has been brought to Delhi and will be examined at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) lab, Director-General of DGCA Anil Kumar had said on Sunday.
Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Monday stated that presently a statutory enquiry is on.
Experts will further study the situation and causes and make suitable recommendations. MoCA is open to all suggestions when the report is received, he added.
