Kerala: Newborn found dead inside a bag in Idukki

The dead body of a newborn was found, stashed in a bag, inside a house at Thopramkudy village in Kerala's Idukki district. The deceased child was reportedly born dead to an unmarried college girl.

Idukki (Kerala): A newborn was found dead inside a house at Thopramkudy village in Kerala's Idukki district.

The deceased child, found wrapped in a bag, was reportedly born dead to an unmarried college girl.

The body of the child has been sent to the Kottayam Medical College Hospital for post-mortem.

The mother of the baby has been shifted to the Idukki Medical College Hospital.

Murickassery police have registered a case of unnatural death.
