Idukki(Kerala): A jeep driver in Wagamon assaulted a minor boy here on Tuesday.
The boy was found on Kaithapathal road in the same area and was taken to a hospital as he suffered severe injuries on the neck.
The victim was a student of class 11 in Wagamon Government School. He was returning from a friend's residence when the incident took place.
Jeep driver who assaulted the minor is yet to be found by the police.
Upon hearing the jeep's horn, he moved aside from its path but the driver kept blowing the horn.
He later stepped out and held the victim by his neck. He beat him so aggressively that he had to be admitted to the hospital.
The police are investigating the case for further information. The whereabouts of the jeep drive are still unknown.
