Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Minister KT Jaleel, who did not respond to the allegations against him publicly, took to social media on Friday.
After the interrogation by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday, Jaleel had not responded publicly to the NIA questioning session.
In a social media post written in Malayalam, on Friday, Jaleel stated that he has not even erred to the extent of a hair strand and that he will move forward unmindful of any such false propagators and hate mongers.
“When the NIA called me to record the statement as per Cr PC 160 as a ‘Notice to Witness’, many interpret and propagate the same as if I was asked if I have anything to say before hanging me to death. I am not bothered about such false propaganda and can continue to move forward, simply because I have nothing to hide. Whichever agency interrogates, something that does not exist will not be. A social worker who does not possess a car or a sovereign of gold does not have to be afraid of any other than the creator. My opponents may be able to kill me. But they cannot ever defeat me,” said Jaleel, in his post.
The Minister has also strongly criticised the media in his post. He said, “The media ensures that those who want to harm me are able to trace my movements, get live locations, and even where I stay and how I travel.”
