Idukki: It was twelve years ago that this young man from Kerala was destined to remain on a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Biju, a native of Rajakkad, fought against paralysis in his lower limbs and revived the rhythm of his life.

In an accident, while cutting a tree branch Biju fell from a great height and lost life in both his limbs. With determination and grit, Biju fought through pain to live a normal, independent life, which was snatched away from him during the fall.

Even with limited mobility, he learnt about the potential and possibilities of freshwater fish farming using the internet and started a venture with the help of his friends.

The other skill which adds rhythm to his reinvigorate life is music. Biju is an active participant and organiser of musical programmes to raise funds to aid the medical treatment of others like him.
