Kollam (Kerala): Accidents change lives. The life of a young man - a poet, singer, and artist, might have changed for the worse, after he met with a road accident. But it did not.
Sanoj Nadayil, a native of Punalur in Kollam District of Kerala was not ready to give up. He lost his right hand in a road accident. Nevertheless, he took charge of his life thereafter with his left hand, holding it close and tight.
His short documentary film titled 'The Mask' discusses the careless disposal of used masks in COVID times - the serious and potentially dangerous consequences it leads to in the society.
Prominent film director MA Nishad too plays a cameo role in Sanoj's short docu-fiction film.
Sanoj said it was his personal experience which inspired him to make the documentary. 'The Mask' was shot completely on mobile camera.
'The Mask' has gone viral on social media platforms and Sanoj is extremely happy that his film is opening up discussions among people.
Nowadays, Sanoj is extremely busy penning poems and producing art. His mother Sarala, wife Viji and Son Yuvan remain his unflinching support in all his endeavours.
Sanoj and his family are delighted by the response his first short film has received on the internet.
