Kerala girl turns magician amid COVID-19 lockdown

When the whole nation is in shutdown mode amid coronavirus-induced lockdown, Sravana, a student of class VIII, from Cherukulam in Mavoor, took to learning magic. She learnt the tricks of magic from her father who is a magician himself.

Kozhikode: While the entire nation was shuttered down, owing to the coronavirus-induced lockdown, children and adults found different ways to spend their time productively under the confines of their respective houses.

In one such feat, Sravana, an 8th class student from Cherukulam in Mavoor, took to learning magic during the lockdown.

By the time the government declared relaxations after the fourth COVID lockdown, Sravana has become a magician par excellence.

Sravana learnt the tricks and tips of magic from her father Rajesh Kumar, who is a magician himself.

Sravana is eagerly awaiting for the schools to reopen so that she can present her tricks and swish her 'magic wand' in front of her friends at school.
