Kerala CM skips PM's video conference, gives suggestion in writing

Kerala CM skipped PM Modi's video conference meet with Chief Ministers held on Monday and submitted his suggestions on the COVID-19 situation in writing. Only 7 states were allowed to speak at today's meeting.

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan did not attend the video conference meeting of CMs with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday.

Kerala instead gave its suggestions on the COVID-19 situation in writing.

Vijayan decided to depute State Chief Secretary Tom Jose as his state was not allowed to speak at the meeting. Kerala already spoke in the previous meet held by the PM and only seven states were allowed to give their inputs orally in Monday's meet.

Other states had been asked to give in writing what they wished to say.
